  • Artist Residency

Sites in Sight is a community-based residency. The residencies are part of a wider programme of activity being delivered by The Art House, thanks to support from Wakefield Council’s Creative Partners Scheme.

The Art House, Wakefield has appointed two artists for its ‘Sites in Sight Artist in Residence’ opportunity. Karen Logan will be located in Warwick, Knottingley and Patrick Murphy in Priory, Featherstone. Each artist work with residents in these neighbourhoods in the development of their work, linking it to the theme of friendship. Delivered in conjunction with Wakefield District Housing, the two projects will launch with taster sessions on Monday 12 December.

Each artist will be taking on space within their neighbourhood, identified by Wakefield District Housing. They will work with communities through to explore friendship leading to the creation of new work.
